Jonathan Bui

Jonathan Bui is a graduating General Civil Engineer. He hopes to find work after graduation involving research and development in either the public or private sectors. He plans to take what he has learned working on this project about engineering and about working with his peers to improve himself as a potential employee. In his spare time he enjoys researching and building computers.

Matthew Cordero, EIT

Matthew Cordero is a General Civil Engineering Major. He has experience working with the City of LA Public Works Bureau of Engineering as an intern. He has also competed at the regional level in the Cal Poly Pomona Steel Bridge Team. He hopes to work as a project manager and gain a master's degree in a specialized field of Civil Engineering. 

Caesar J. Enriquez 

Caesar Enriquez is a General Civil Engineering Major. Enriquez completed a 5-year degree with a full-time job and military service. He is currently commissioning as a 2nd Lieutenant Officer in the US Army. He was a leading cadet in Army ROTC and graduated ranking 2/600 in 2019. He plans on taking the FE exam and the LEED Associate exam. 

David R. Flores-Felix, EIT

David Flores is an Environmental Engineering major. He has designed sewer pipelines for projects ranging from 95 acres to 650 acres using SewerCAD. He has been involved in Cal Poly Pomona's Geowall and Concrete Canoe competition teams. He was also a founder of the Design Build Institute of America CPP student chapter in 2017. He plans on taking the PE exam in October 2020. 

Brittney Gann, EIT  

Brittney Gann is a General Civil Engineering Major. Gann has been working a part-time internship with David Evans and Associates for the past two years and will be working full-time in June 2020. While earning her degree, Gann was always involved in the campus community by working as a rock wall instructor at the Cal Poly BRIC rock climbing wall, and leading BRIC related outdoor climbing and backpacking trips. She hopes to hone her Civil3D skills and prepare for the PE

Miguel A. Galvan, EIT

Miguel Galvan is a General Civil Engineering Major. During his time as an Engineerig Student he earned himself 2 internships in his field of interest, Geotechnical Engineering. He hopes to gain a Master's Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, acquire a PE and GE license, and maintain a healthy balance of family and work.

Christopher Geere

Christopher Geere is a General Civil Engineering Major. He has been working as an intern at Christiansen and Company for the past year. He has experience designing grading plans for houses, developing Water Quality Management Plans, and adjusting plan checks for grading plans. He hopes to gain a PE license and continue working in the Land Development field of Civil Engineering.

Lindsey Henken 

Lindsey Henken is a General Civil Engineering major.  She has been working at her internship with Madole & Associates for the last year and a half and plans to work full time after graduation. Lindsey has obtained her FAA Part 107 license and has experience processing Lidar  data from our drone.She hopes to pass the FE exam in June, and eventually get her PE license to move up in leadership roles at her company.

Esther Kala 

Esther Kala is a General Civil Engineering major. During her time at Cal Poly, she has been an Officer for the Cal Poly Institute of Transportation Engineers and the Data Collection Project Volunteer for the ITE Western District. She has worked as an intern for Sener Engineering, the Sanitation Districts of LA, and BuildGroup inc. She hopes to gain a PhD in Structural Engineering.

Vanessa X. Langsfeld, EIT  

Vanessa Langsfeld is a Geospatial Civil Engineering major. At Cal Poly she is the current President of California Land Surveyor’s Association CPP Student Chapter and a Chi Epsilon Member. She has experience working as a CAD drafter Intern for Calvada Surveying Inc.  She hopes to gain a PE license and become a licensed Land Surveyor.

Javier Martinez

Javier Martinez is a General Civil Engineering major. He is the current Vice President for AGC of America CPP Student Chapter. He is also a CEMA member, PSWC Survey Team Member, and an ASCE Student Chapter member. He has been working as an intern at OHL USA Inc for the last 3 years.

Leonardo Martinez

Leonardo Martinez is a Geospatial Civil Engineering major.  He is a transfer Student from Cerritos College where he earned three associates degrees in Natural Sciences, Science Engineering, and Science Mathematics. While studying at Cal Poly, he earned the College of Engineering Transtech Engineers Scholarship and also earned himself a position at Transtech. He hopes to pass the FE exam and get his LSIT to gain more knowledge in surveying principles.

Erik Montgomery 

Erik Montgomery is a Geospatial Civil Engineering major. In Spring 2020 he will be one of six graduating geospatial students. He has already earned a part 107 pilot license and 

worked as a chainman and office technician at a surveying firm. He hopes to gain an LSIT in the next few months and gain the experience necessary to achieve a PLS.

Annie Nguyen 

Annie Nguyen is a Geospatial Civil Engineering major. She is a transfer student from Golden West College where she earned an associate's degrees in physics and mathematics. At Cal Poly, she has been involved in Steel bridge as Logistics captain and in CLSA as Vice President. She has also been interning at WestLAND Group since April 2018.

Osbaldo Ortiz, EIT, LSIT

Osbaldo is a Geospatial Civil Engineering major. He participates in the CLSA on campus as a board member and assisted the Geomatics Conference on campus in the past year. Osbaldo became an EIT as well as an LSIT during his time at Cal Poly Pomona which is a large step in his goal to become a dually licensed engineer in pursuit of a career in surveying. He wishes to eventually start his own firm sometime along his career.

Josh Park, EIT 

Josh is a General Civil Engineering major. He is an active member in on campus clubs and organizations such as CLSA, ASCE, and Chi Epsilon. He also actively participates in church activities and serves in his local community. Josh has had two internships at BKG Engineers and WestLAND Group Inc.

Thomas Rubio 

Thomas is a General Civil Engineering major. He has worked for Sukut Construction, where he cultivated experience in residential grading, solar sites, wet utilities, water resources, detention basins, and highway widening projects. He was responsible for estimating, 3d CAD models, earthwork balance analysis, developing budgets, negotiating contracts, and tracking costs for civil construction projects that totaled more than $100 million.

Haley (Zhiheng) Song 

Haley (Zhiheng) Song is a General Civil Engineer major. She hopes to use the experience she gains from this project in the workplace where she aims to be a structural engineer or surveyor.

Steven Tullos 

Steven Tullos is a General Civil Engineering Major. He serves at his local chuch and attends yearly missions to Baja, Mexico. He has earned multiple internships based on his academic performance at Cal Poly Pomona.

Ethan Wang 

Ethan Wang is a General Civil Engineering Major. He is the Chief Communications Officer for the Nikkei Student union and works Public Relations for Inner Essence Dance Company. He has been working as a full-time summer/part-time academic year intern at a civil engineering firm for the past 6 years. He hopes to work there full time while working towards an EIT and PE certification. He also has plans of pursuing a LSIT or PLS certification as well.

Mabel Zazueta

Mabel is a Geospatial Civil Engineering student. She Transfered from Cerritos College where she initially earned her associate's degree in Natural Science before attending Cal Poly Pomona. During her time at Cal Poly, she was involved in the first National Summer Transportation Institute, a three weeks High School Program. Last April, She got an internship in Caltrans District 12 as a part of the Transportation Management Center.
